Current Monitoring Relay
Current monitoring relays are designed to monitor, control or display the good working order of electrical loads. If the current drops below the specified value, this can be signalled as a function of the configuration of the control output, or a spare load can be activated respectively. A sample application is to de-energize the rear fog lamp of a tractor. Current monitoring relays are often used in emergency or command vehicles with electrical attachments or mounted implements, and more specifically with safety-relevant components.
